Vi nås på lördagskvällen av mycket jobbiga uppgifter, då det meddelas att Sir Alex Ferguson har opererats för en hjärnblödning. Manchester United säger i ett uttalande att operationen gick bra.
“Sir Alex Ferguson har idag akut opererats för en hjärnblödning,” säger United i ett uttalande till media.
“Operationen gick väldigt bra men han behöver en period av intensivvård för att optimera hans återhämtning. Hans familj ber om att få avskildhet i den här frågan.”
Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone surgery today for a brain haemorrhage. The procedure has gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to aid his recovery. His family request privacy in this matter.

Enligt Times kallades en ambulans till Fergusons hem i Cheshire tidigt igår morse. Han fördes då till det lokala sjukhuset i Macclesfield. Senare blev han flyttad till Salford Royal. De uppgifterna är dock obekräftade.
