Sällan har jag sett ett lag vara så impotent på OT som Blackburn var i dag. Möjligen Sunderland för några år sedan. Efter matchen sammanfattade den osympatiske Big Sam Allardyce både matchen och sig själv i ett kort stycke:
“It was a fair result. We defended very well indeed and limited them to not many clear-cut chances but the two goals they scored were class finishes. My only disappointment is that we didn’t challenge United in their own area enough when they have been a bit shaky recently. With our late goal that was disallowed, it was so far onside that I don’t know how that wasn’t given – and that might have changed things.”
